Named after our captain of the Sandringham Football team for his courageous efforts on field, & thought that this would suit. There is no way that the name Devil suits this dog.
He didn't grace the show ring that often in 2006 due to us going overseas, in August 2006 he won Minor Puppy In Show at the 12th National Cocker Spaniel Australia championship show held by CSS of NSW. Judge Andrew Jones (UK-Shenmore) described Chad as a very mature black, excellent presentation complimented his good breed type, very attractive head, good kind eye, scores in legs and feet, well ribbed, excellent back end, really got it together on the move. Won this class with his very stylish movement. Very promising.
The following week Chad won Best of Breed, beating his half sister, Ch Britebay Witch Won (Midge) and went onto to win Minor Puppy In Group at the KCC Park Show. At this year's Royal Melbourne Show, Chad won his Minor Puppy Dog class then went onto win Reserve Dog Challenge.
In 2006 Chad won three Puppy In Shows all under Cocker Spaniel Specialists. This boy is fast becoming a devil in disguise - nibbling your fingers to let you know he is there! But Chad's delightful nature enhances his stylish movement, when he decides to get it together. STOP PRESS: Chad gains his Australian Championship title at 14 months - another champion at Britebay before 15 months of age!! Way to go Chad being the 1st Gaymon child to achieve the Aust Ch status.
CHAD WINS RUNNER UP IN SHOW AT COCKER SPANIEL CLUB OF VICTORIA'S PM SHOW under breed specialist Mrs J Craig (UK)who describes Chad as a black of excellent breed type, with good head and good dark eye, lovely outline, short cobby body, really good feet, excellent quarters used to advantage on the move while holding a good topline. Presentation excellent.
