Ayla was produced from our first litter in 1991. A fabulous puppy that would win Puppy in-group and Puppy in show with monotonous regularity. Titled before her first birthday. Ayla had already displayed her tremendous ability to find birds in the field as a baby; her potential to be an exceptional finder was truly amazing.
Originally my dog for the field I take the honours in her initial training but once Evan realised what she was capable of doing, somehow I was relegated to carrying the water and supplies on hunting trips.
Ayla very easily became a Show Champion and just as easily a Field Trial Champion with many wins to her credit and was a very tough adversary in field competition, very rarely out found. Again able to claim the title of Dual Champion as her dam Licualla Augusta did.
Ayla won many awards in the ring at All Breeds Group and Show level, the most memorable was at the Queensland GSP Speciality in which Evan had made his yearly appearance and was awarded Bitch Challenge under international judge.
Aylas siblings are Dual Champion Gershopoin Aralia, Dual Champion Adranet and Grand Champion Gershopoin Aarkeye.
Ayla produced National Best In Speciality Show winner Ch Gershopoin Double Ay, Grand Champion Gershopoin Evanhoe, Grand Champion Gershopoin Laila, and National Speciality Champion Puppy in Show (solid Black) Ch Gershopoin Kosmea Kamea, Ch Gershopoin Kaptin Kaaos, Ch Gershopoin Legere, Ch Gershopoin Dubbel Vla.
Ayla though retired these days is Evans devoted companion she lives for every step he takes. Sleeps at Evans side though has taken up where her mother left off and spends the first part of the night on the end of our sons bed.
