We breed German Shorthaired Pointers from the top show, obedience, and field lines. With over 30 years in the breed, we have bred champions in show and field, including
1 SUPREME CHAMPION, 1 DUAL GRAND CHAMPION (Show/Track and Search), 1 NATIONAL FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION, 2 DUAL CHAMPIONS (Show/Field and Show/Track and Search), 10 GRAND CHAMPIONS (Show), 1 GRAND CHAMPION (Track and Search), 49 SHOW CHAMPIONS, and a QUEENSLAND STATE FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION.
We had our first litter in 1996 from our foundation bitch, Dual Ch (F) Gershopoin Aralia CDX, AD, ET, NRD - 'Tess' (1991 - 2007). She produced 5 Show Champions, including a Dual Champion (Field), a National Field Trial Champion, a Novice Field Dog, a Novice Retrieving Dog, and a Companion Dog Excellent in Obedience from 2 litters.
After establishing a partnership with Trevor Lodder (breeder of WEBFOOT Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and previously TENARDA Chesapeakes and Labradors), with over 35 years of breeding experience, I found that 'Tess' loved hunting. Trevor handled 'Tess' to achieve her Field Trial and Novice Retrieving Dog titles. She was smart, single-minded, and full of spirit, also excelling in Obedience and Agility. Tess had much to offer her progeny, who continue to achieve under the TEALPOINT prefix.
We bred and owned 'Quinn', the WINNER of the 1999 Queensland State and Australian NATIONAL Utility Field Trials. He was our first CHAMPION in SHOW and FIELD and was awarded a DIPLOMA OF MERIT for outstanding work in the National Trial. He was the only dog at the time to have received the award.
At GSP Club of Queensland Pointscore Competitions over the years, we bred METROPOLITAN PUPPY BITCH OF THE YEAR 2003 / METROPOLITAN PUPPY DOG OF THE YEAR 2004 / METROPOLITAN SHOW BITCH OF THE YEAR 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007, and METROPOLITAN SHOW DOG OF THE YEAR 2004. We proudly bred the winner of BEST IN SHOW at the 2004 GSP NATIONAL SPECIALTY SHOW. In 2007, we were awarded DAM OF THE YEAR by the GSP Club of Queensland, as well as winning BEST OF BREED and PUPPY OF BREED at the ROYAL QUEENSLAND SHOW (the EKKA). Also at the EKKA in 2013, we won BITCH CHALLENGE and RUNNER-UP BEST OF BREED. In 2017, we were awarded OPPOSITE SEX JUNIOR IN SHOW at the GSP NATIONAL SPECIALTY SHOW. Again, at the EKKA in 2013, we won BITCH CHALLENGE and RUNNER-UP BEST OF BREED, and in 2018 and 2019, we were awarded BEST OF BREED. Further, in 2023 at the EKKA, Ann Marie Boyd won BEST OF BREED (2 shows) and BEST IN GROUP 2nd. We continue to achieve with our dogs at All Breeds and Specialty Shows with BABY PUPPYs IN SHOW at both the GSP National Specialty and the GSP Society of New South Wales Specialty, 2025. We aim to breed dogs with excellent conformation, working ability, and loving, biddable temperaments. Our GSPs make devoted companions.
As competitive Field Trials are no longer available in many parts of Australia without approved quail seasons, we currently teach our dogs field skills on private land where they enjoy learning the fundamentals of hunting and retrieving.

Roger has now completed Sprint Dog Novice and Scent Work Novice Titles to add to his achievements.
Previously, Roger became a Track and Search GRAND CHAMPION and our 10th show GRAND CHAMPION. He will now be known as DUAL GRAND CHAMPION (Track and Search) Tealpoint Game Set N Match (AI) RN ET. On the way, Roger was previously a Track and Search Champion, becoming a DUAL CHAMPION in Track and Search. This is a fantastic achievement for Ann-Marie Boyd and Roger, and huge congratulations to you both for all your hard work. Roger's show achievements include BEST IN SHOW All Breeds under Mr R Lucas (NSW).
Cochise, Tealpoint Indian Chief, was BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW under GSP Specialist Judge, Mrs D Fenton (NSW)
Whitney is Roger's sister and is now CHAMPION Tealpoint Game Changer (AI). She is our 46th Australian Champion and the third Champion in her litter. Well done, Whitney and Jason Elliot!

Moon, Tarlorise Lady of the Skye (AI), a lovely lady bred by Susan Brown and Geoff Smith from Tealpoint and Woodwych lines and daughter of Roger, became a CHAMPION with all breeds and specialty wins to her credit.

Juno, Tealpoint Celestial Journey (AI) (Fiona Grieve, Heather Reynolds, and Ann-Marie Boyd) is our 49th CHAMPION at 8 and a half months. She is the proud daughter of Tripp, AM CH CIB CH A20 CH GR CH SUP CH VJK-Myst Journey Downunder (Imp USA). This is a wonderful achievement with Fiona at the helm, and we are all very proud of Tripp's 16th CHAMPION. Huge congratulations, Fiona!
